Dear SC Dames:

It is a pleasure to be welcomed as the new 2024-2026 Town Committee Chair for Pee Dee! Six counties make up the Pee Dee.  Florence is considered the hub, but many of our 57 members live in counties surrounding Florence. We enjoy meetings in Darlington, Cheraw, Effingham and Manning as well as Florence.  We especially enjoy our annual picnics, outside in May usually on land that has been in a member’s family many years.

I want to thank the Board of Directors and Frankie Garber for their work. We will continue to move forward with the progress they’ve made during their years of service.

We are passionate about our heritage, our nation, our land, and the preservation of our history and culture for future generations. We are grateful to our military families and show our support for Veterans in our community throughout the year. We are proud to be Dames and are honored to be associated with so many fabulous ladies who are making a difference in their communities across the state and nation.  And we look forward to sharing the spirit of the Pee Dee with all of you in April when we host the Annual Meeting.
